Wikitokyo:General disclaimer
From Wikitokyo, the unofficial Megatokyo wiki
Although Wikitokyo is in general a good—the best, we hope—Megatokyo resource, there are a few important caveats to keep in mind while using it.
Wikitokyo is unaffilated with Megatokyo
Wikitokyo is not affiliated with Fred Gallagher, Megatokyo, or Fredart Studios, LLC; it is entirely the work of fans. Many pictures and some text on this site © 2000–2005 Fred Gallagher. We believe their use to be in accordance with United States fair-use law.

Wikitokyo may be incomplete and inaccurate
Although Wikitokyo editors strive to keep the site as complete and accurate as possible, inaccuracies and omissions may slip in for several reasons:
- New details may have been revealed since the article was last edited, or editors may not have gotten around to documenting relevant details of the comic.
- Editors may confuse canon and fanon.
- Editors may be forced to extrapolate from incomplete information.
- Malicious editors may add inaccuracies on purpose.
- Editors may simply be mistaken.
Wikitokyo's policies attempt to avoid these problems, but they are by no means perfect. In particular, most articles on Wikitokyo include references which can help you verify the information yourself. Do not take anything on Wikitokyo as absolute fact; we make no guarantee about its accuracy.
Wikitokyo may contain offensive content
Although Megatokyo, and thus most of Wikitokyo's content, is generally PG-13, this wiki can be edited by any person with a computer; thus, we cannot guarantee the appropriateness of material on this wiki at any time. We will promptly revert vandalism once we notice it. If you see a case of vandalism, please leave a note on Wikitokyo:Vandalism in progress.
Even absent vandalism, we make no guarantee about the appropriateness of content in the talk pages, user profiles, and break room. These areas of the site are for contributors to communicate with each other, and even inappropriate content in these sections is removed only under extraordinary circumstances.
